False Creek Community Association
President's Message

Welcome to Fall!

As you transition from routines of summer into those of Fall, consider the programs and facilities at the False Creek Community Centre.

A place for all ages, the Centre offers child care as well as activities that cater to the energetic and inquiring spirits of tots and youth. And whether you are new to the area or a familiar face, adults and seniors will find a variety of options to nurture mind, body and soul.

We offer rooms to rent for those planning meetings or celebrating special occasions, and our fitness centre is a great place to work on your cardio, strength, and flexibility which has been recently updated with new equipment.

With the Granville Island 2040 initiative, the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is planning to improve accessibility, expand the public market, embrace arts and innovation, and restore and sustain the public realm. The City of Vancouver is also developing conceptual plans for an improved walking, rolling, and cycling path across Granville Bridge and intend on improving wayfinding to Granville Island. So as the city grows and evolves around us, the False Creek Community Centre will serve as a mainstay and bridge into the future while keeping you connected to our history and past.

On behalf of the Association Board, we invite you to give us a call, look us up online, or drop in for a visit.
