Goodbye and Thank You, Anthony!

We have some bittersweet news to share: we are saying goodbye and good luck to Anthony Gagné!

Anthony is one of the Engagement Leaders with the team that supports PVN, the Patient & Public Engagement Team at the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council. He has taken a new opportunity within the Council. Thank you for all your work in Northern BC, Anthony — we'll miss you!

Anthony Gagné

Anthony sends this message to the patient and health care partners he's worked with: "While this is an exciting change, it is a little hard to believe that, after nearly seven years, I won’t be working as closely with all of you. I wanted to thank you all — there are no words to express how grateful I am for your commitment and passion. Without you, this network wouldn’t exist in the North at all. I have learned so much from every one of you, and I can’t wait to hear about the exciting work you get yourselves involved in going forward!"

Located in Northern BC and think you'd be a good fit with the Patient & Public Engagement Team? Read the Engagement Leader job posting.

Island Health is currently looking for patient partners to fill five new vacancies on their Quality Councils so we've asked Eric, a PVN Patient Partner, to tell us about his experience on two of these Councils and how it reminds him of his aerospace work. It's not exactly rocket science, but just as important!
