NEW FUNDING: Community Opportunity Readiness Program (CROP)

Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is pleased to announce a 2026-2027 call for proposals for major economic development projects under the Community Opportunity Readiness Program (CROP).

The funding is intended to support community economic development in Indigenous communities related to:

  • Business acquisition
  • Starting or expanding businesses
  • Community economic infrastructure

Program Guidelines

Submit your funding applications through the attached application form by December 1, 2025.

TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples now open!  

AFOA Canada is pleased to announce that applications for the TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples will be open from 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 1, 2025, until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2025. 

The scholarship provides up to $60,000 over four years, with $10,000 each year for tuition and $5,000 each year for living expenses.

AFOA Canada is reviewing its current trust workshop offerings. Your feedback will help us understand the needs of Indigenous communities and what topics and delivery methods you are most interested in.
