Thursday, October 1st, 2020

As of today, October 1st, the Montréal region has reached level 4 - maximum alert (red zone) according to the map of COVID-19 alert levels of the Direction générale de la Santé publique du Québec. Several government restrictions targeting industries and settings where the risk of transmission is considered higher have been announced.

Following these announcements, the Ville de Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue will put in place certain preventive measures to comply with these new restrictions aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19.

All the measures set out in this email will be in place starting today, October 1st, until October 28th inclusively. The situation will be reassessed after this date, following government directives and certain measures may also be called upon to change during this period.

Taking into account the various possible repercussions of the pandemic on our services, we have redesigned our teams to ensure that we are able to continue our services effectively in the event of an unforeseen situation.

This new working method could, however, have repercussions on the speed of our services. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

For any request, we invite you to complete the online form or to use the app Voilà! Signalements. You may also contact 514-457-5500.

WORK IN PROGRESS

All the infrastructure work in progress and the renovation work on the town hall will continue as planned.

Please note that all activities organized by the library (even those taking place at the Centre Harpell) are canceled.

See the lending service procedure and opening hours

LEISURE ACTIVITIES

The leisure activities programmed for fall are suspended until further notice.

However, we are awaiting clarifications on the directives issued by the Direction générale de Santé publique to ensure that they are correctly interpreted. We will notify you of any changes.

PARKS, OUTDOOR SPORTS FIELDS
AND PROMENADE DU CANAL

All parks will remain open. However, it is important to respect the physical distance of 2 meters.

The tennis courts will remain open, but only singles play is permitted.

As for basketball courts, as the game must respect the physical distance of 2 meters as well, no game will be allowed.

The Promenade du Canal will also remain open with the measures already in place, that is, one-way direction and identified entrances and exits. We are counting on everyone's collaboration to respect the measures in place and physical distancing in order to get through this period of restrictions as quickly as possible.
