Welcome to the 'Learning & Healing' Edition of Myles Ahead's curated Educator Resources. Part of the Truth for us to collectively face is that although residential schools are no longer in operation, their devastating effects are still here and colonialism still permeates throughout the current school system.

How can we collectively and collaboratively decolonize schools to (w)holistically honour Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Worldviews, which also helps to cultivate learning and healing for All? The links below include recommended resources to help you navigate this ongoing journey in the classroom.

Content Warning: The resources below include content related to residential schools and may cause trauma brought on by memories of past abuse. If needed, this is the 24-Hour Crisis Line by the Indian Residential School Survivors Society: 1-866-925-4419.
