The Ottawa Hospital's new campus design showcased on international stage
The state-of-the-art design of The Ottawa Hospital’s new campus has gone global.
With an ambitious design plan that will reshape the future of health care in our community and region, The Ottawa Hospital’s new campus was recently featured at the European Healthcare Design 2023 Congress and Exhibition, which took place June 12 to 14 at the Royal College of Physicians in London, England.
Organized by SALUS Global Knowledge Exchange and Architects for Health, the annual Congress and Exhibition brings together a global community of health-care design and health practitioner professionals. It provides an international forum to share knowledge and reflect on the latest research, policies, and best practice examples of the role of design excellence in health-care systems and hospital design.
The Ottawa Hospital’s new campus design was presented at this year’s event under the theme: Health-care resilience through design excellence.
As part of the event and discussion on the role of human centered design in modern hospitals to support health and wellness, The Ottawa Hospital presented a video of insightful interviews, high resolution renderings and never-before-seen 3D animations of the new campus design. The designs were also featured in a gallery at the Royal College of Physicians Library.
