*IMPORTANT: INSURANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

All international students are automatically registered to the international student health and hospital insurance (ASHEE). Coverage begins as soon as they arrive, no earlier than August 15 for the 2022 fall semester. They are also enrolled in the dental portion of the group plan offered by the AÉCSP as of the fall semester (see above), with the exception of double degree students in the integrating semester.

Attention: Several students (including most students from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Luxemburg, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and Romania) can be exempted from ASHEE and thus benefit from Quebec's Health Insurance Plan (RAMQ) and AÉCSP's health and dental insurance plan.
