Citizen Satisfaction Survey

The District of Squamish is conducting a Citizen Satisfaction Survey to hear from a cross-section of residents about how they are doing, and how the District is doing when it comes to our programs and services.

This survey, available by mail and online, has been sent to a random sample of residents across all Squamish neighbourhoods. If you did not receive a survey in the mail, we invite you to complete a community-wide digital version, available at letstalksquamish.ca/citizen-satisfaction-survey.

Please consider taking the time to provide your feedback that will help inform District Council strive to best meet the needs of all Squamish citizens.

Day of Mourning Ceremony

Please join us along with the District Labour Committee for the B.C. Day of Mourning ceremony, an annual commemoration of fallen workers in our community, province and country. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the U Siyam Pavilion Park Workers’ Monument in Downtown Squamish.

Day of Mourning is a national event organized by labour groups, unions and municipalities across the country who come together to remember those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational disease. In Squamish, the Workers' Monument in Pavilion Park includes the names of local residents who have lost their lives on the job, including firefighters, loggers, RCMP members and others.

For more information on the Day of Mourning as well as a list of ceremonies throughout the province, please visit the link here.

A 2.4% surcharge will be applied to these charges in order to cover the fees incurred from credit card companies.
