Submit Your Best Two-Sentence Horror Stories This October!
Throughout October, people of all ages are invited to write their best two-sentence horror stories and submit them at the Bowen Library!
Here are some of the spook-tacular stories submitted so far:
Woo...woo...woo... The ghosts were making scary noises in the bedroom of the old mansion. They are trying to tell us there is a murder about to happen.

Shivering, with the eerie autumn moonlight lighting the grave, she knelt down and gingerly scraped the frost-tinged soil off the stiff, white finger and uncovered an entire human hand. It was warm.

Once there was a hungry ghost, so at night the ghost stole all the kids' candy! The end.

We are posting them in the library for all to read, and will share some on our social media, website, and newsletter. Get into the Halloween spirit and get creative—how much horror can you pack into two sentences?
