Call for abstracts: 2023 EnviroCon | University of Western Ontario

The University of Western Ontario invites graduate students to submit abstracts for online oral presentations and in-person poster presentations for the 2023 EnviroCon research conference.  This annual interdisciplinary conference welcomes students from all departments, including Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, Policy, and Management. 

The conference will take place on March 24, 2023, and there are no fees associated with this event.

Biomaterials: The future of food packaging and single-use plastics

On Thursday, February 23 join the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems for the third episode of their speaker series. Experts Love-Ese Chile, the Owner and Managing Director at Regenerative Waste Labs, and Amanda Johnson, the UBC researcher behind Grasstic will take a deep dive into the innovations and challenges around biomaterials — and the role that they might play in revolutionizing our food system.
