Celebrate the New Year with a festive stroll through Lights at Lafarge – the lights are staying on late. Over one million sparkling lights illuminate the 1.6 km loop around Lafarge Lake, with late-night food trucks available on-site. Lights at Lafarge is open nightly until February 16.

Ball Diamond Upgrades Complete

The ball diamond upgrades at Cottonwood Park are officially complete. The old grass infield has been swapped for a durable rock-dust mix that stands up to soggy days and keeps play running smoothly. Upgrades also included new inground bases, updated foul poles and an extra park access gate.

Community Tree-Chipping Events

Bring your natural Christmas tree (free of stands, decorations, tinsel and flocking) to one of three tree-chipping events on January 3 or 4.
