Register Now for Generation Health!

Generation Health is a fun, interactive and FREE 10-week program for families with children aged 8 to 12 years old who want to be on a healthy lifestyle path. We are currently delivering four Generation Health winter programs in British Columbia and currently registering families for spring programs. We are also registering the Generation Health program in Alberta and Ontario as part of a Canadian Institutes for Health Research study.

In addition to weekly 2-hour sessions with trained program facilitators, participating families also have the opportunity to learn from content experts. We offer virtual family cooking classes with a Registered Dietitian which continue to receive strong participation and engagement and are often mentioned as a highlight of the program. While keeping in mind the impact of rising food costs, we have provided more ingredient options and substitutes. This also helps families to more easily adapt recipes for various dietary and cultural preferences.

We continue to provide additional support by offering Q&A/info sessions with a Registered Dietitian and Registered Clinical Counsellor. Generation Health also offers a free Online Self-Paced program for families who do not qualify or prefer a self-paced option.
