The Learning and Development team receives several support requests from staff and managers inquiring about accessing required training. Visit our learning catalogue and learn more about how to access and complete required training for all SHA staff and physicians.

Free online suicide prevention training

One conversation could save a life. Would you know what to say?

A free, 90-minute online suicide prevention training from LivingWorks can help provide confidence and practical skills to recognize warning signs, start supportive conversations, and connect people to the support they need.

What you'll learn:

  • How to recognize signs that someone may be thinking about suicide
  • How to engage in supportive, compassionate conversations
  • How to help facilitate access to appropriate supports and resources

Details:

  • This training is available to SHA staff, practitioners, and volunteers.
  • Format is 90-minutes online, self-paced
  • You will have 60 days after enrollment to complete the course

SMART Pump Program SharePoint site transition

The SMART Pump Program SharePoint site is transitioning to SharePoint Online on August 27, 2026.

The new site has been designed to closely reflect the current site, with the same content and some minor updates, including an upgraded Online Change Request Form.
The previous site will remain available for approximately two weeks to support a smooth transition. Staff are encouraged to begin using the new site and update their bookmark.
