Nominations are still open for the 2025 Al Cormier Award—Electric Mobility Canada’s national recognition of individual leadership in advancing electric transportation. The deadline to submit is Friday, August 8, 2025.
Named after EMC’s founder, Al Cormier—who established the organization in 2006 as one of the first in the world dedicated to electric mobility—this award honours a Canadian individual whose impact goes beyond the scope of their professional role and demonstrates outstanding contribution to the electrification of transportation.
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:

Leadership in electric mobility

An exceptional project or long-term initiative

Lifetime achievement
-
EMC association leadership
-
Innovation or pioneering contributions to electric transportation
Eligibility:

Open to individuals based in Canada (impact may be national or global)
