THE NEXT REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2025, AT 7 P.M. AT CENTRE LAC-BROME.

The Newly Elected Officials Have Been Officially Proclaimed and Sworn In!

The members of the new Brome Lake Town Council were officially sworn in on November 10, during a ceremony held at the Centre Lac-Brome in the presence of their loved ones.

Elected on November 2, they are now beginning their four-year term.

The council, in order as they appear in the photo, consists of: Councillors Pierre Laplante, Robert Laflamme and Lisa Payne, Mayor Lee Patterson, and Councillors Claude Rajotte, Steven Beerwort and Patrick Ouvrard.

The Town would like to congratulate the elected officials and wishes them a mandate filled with promising projects for the entire population.

The Budget Forecasts Presented in January

Due to the municipal elections held this fall, the adoption of the 2026 budget may be exceptionally postponed until January.

This measure, provided for by the Loi sur les cités et villes, allows the new municipal council to fully participate in developing the budget from the start of its mandate.

If the budget is adopted in January, the mailing of tax bills may be slightly delayed.

One Last Meeting Scheduled for December!

The last regular Council meeting for the year 2025 will be held on Monday, December 1, at Centre Lac-Brome.

A Message from Bondville-Fulford Councillor Claude Rajotte

First of all, thank you for your trust. To start my term on the right foot and to follow up on your requests, I’m organizing a community meeting for the residents of the Fulford sector to discuss your expectations, concerns, and issues.

This meeting will take place on Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 p.m. at Davis Hall, 62 Davis Road.

Our new mayor, Lee Patterson, will also be present. Please note that another meeting will be organized for residents of the Bondville area in January.

During the election campaign, when I knocked on almost every door in the district, I had the pleasure of meeting many of you, which allowed me to learn a great deal. The same was true during the candidates’ meeting at Davis Hall. However, several of you were not home during my visits, and some may only know me through the flyer I left behind.

This meeting will therefore be a great opportunity to connect and exchange with all Fulford residents who attend.

Thank you, and I look forward to seeing many of you there!
