WHAT'S ON AT LET'S TALK SQUAMISH

Help us make glass recycling easier in Squamish!

The District is looking to launch a pilot program where glass collection stations are set-up throughout the neighbourhoods of Squamish.

The intent is that there will be two totes at multiple locations throughout town, where residents can drop-off glass only, with the purpose of making it more convenient for residents to recycle glass, as well as reduce the amount of glass in our curbside recycling.

Follow the link below and mark on the map where you think would be an effective location for a neighbourhood glass station(s).

These new donation bins are made possible thanks to efforts of Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. We remind all residents to please be respectful when using these bins and only drop-off accepted items (mentioned above). All donations are resold in exchange for funds that support the ability to facilitate their free mentoring programs for children and youth.
