Firefighters spent the last few days removing all hose, pumps and temporary radio repeaters from the Chetamon Wildfire. Approximately 30 km of hose has been rolled and demobilized off the fireline. All partner organization firefighters and resources have been released, leaving two Parks Canada crews and one helicopter. There has been no growth in suppression zones of the wildfire since September 11 and the estimated wildfire size remains at approximately 6,000 hectares. There continues to be no risk to communities from this wildfire.
