While a new property assessment roll will come into effect in January, officials have already committed to lowering the tax rate to offset the impact of the updated values on taxpayers' bills. Artificial feeding can disrupt their natural behaviour and lead to serious health problems. Attracting them close to residential areas also increases the risk of tick proliferation on properties. To help protect wildlife and ensure evreyone's safety, it is advised not to feed wild animals. First, the invasive exotic species will be mowed, and the debris at the bottom of the ditch will be removed. The ditch will then be covered with a tarpaulin to prevent the plant from growing back. The goal of this work is to improve water flow in the ditch running through the neighbourhood. The work is expected to last up to two weeks. | | Knowlton Lions Club Annual Santa Claus Parade! Santa Claus will be returning to Brome Lake on December 7, 2024.
