Monthly e-news for KIN students

International Women’s Day

March 8th is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made towards achieving gender equality and celebrate the acts of courage and determination by individuals who have played an extraordinary role in advancing gender equality in their communities.

We believe in the importance of supporting and encouraging women to succeed in whatever they choose to do in life. It is through this support of each other that we choose to challenge -- to challenge gender bias and inequality, and pave the way to break barriers to create a more inclusive world.
This day provides an opportunity to consider steps to bring about equality for women in all their diversity. See UBC events celebrating International Women’s Day here.

We invite students to post your thoughts on women and equality in the field of kinesiology to the @ubckin Instagram.

Please use the hashtags #generationequality and #IWD2021.
