Souvenirs de John Flynn

La semaine dernière, nous avons été bouleversés d'apprendre le décès soudain de John Flynn. Nous le connaissions en tant qu'étudiant, membre du conseil d'administration de CASWE-ACFTS, Trésorier de CASWE-ACFTS, travailleur social, collègue et ami. Nous avons rencontré John pour la première fois après l'AGA de CASWE-ACFTS de 2014, lorsqu'il s'est joint au conseil d'administration à titre de nouveau responsable de la liaison avec les étudiants(es) en travail social. Conférence 2019: les hôtels à Vancouver se remplissent très vite!

Le Comité des étudiants

Le comité des étudiants a pour mission d'améliorer les expériences éducatives dans les écoles de travail social agréées par CASWE-ACFTS à travers le Canada. Le Comité étudiant identifie et défend les intérêts et les préoccupations des étudiants(es) et encourage l’implication des étudiants(es) dans des activités de CASWE-ACFTS. Memories of John Flynn

We were shocked last week to hear of the sudden death of John Flynn. We knew him as a student, a member of the CASWE-ACFTS board of directors, treasurer of CASWE-ACFTS, a social worker, a colleague, and a friend. We first met John after the 2014 CASWE-ACFTS AGM, when he joined the board of directors as the new social work student liaison. At that first meeting and throughout his time with us, John demonstrated maturity beyond his years, always presenting as caring, humble, insightful, intelligent, and ethical. Continue Reading.

Association membership runs from April 1st to March 31st of each year and provides you with many benefits, including a reduced rate to attend our conference during the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences! Conference 2019: Vancouver Hotels are Booking up Quickly!

Have you reserved your hotel for conference? Some of the hotel blocks available through Congress have already sold out! (This includes some dates at The Sutton Place Hotel).
