At the start of the new school year, many activities are organized especially to welcome new students.

⇒ Attend our upcoming webinars and see the ones you missed in replay.

  • Coming soon : Registration and course selection - Thursday, August 1st 2024, 10:30 am to 11:30 am - Registration

⇒ Also, discover the timeline of important steps to follow before and during your first semester with the new student journey. It's an essential checklist!

New Master's, DESS or PhD students are required to make a study plan. The study plan is the list of academic activities (workshops, courses, internships, projects and seminars) and research activities you will be required to complete as part of your program.

The study plan proposal must be completed using the designated form and must be approved by your Supervisor (DESS and professional master’s) or your Research Supervisor (Research-based Master’s and Doctorate/PhD), and by your graduate studies coordinator. Your study plan must then be approved by the Registrar’s Office no later than September 10, 2024.

**Students in the integration trimester (double degree) do not need to make a study plan at this stage.**

⇒ Watch the video on the study plan to learn how to complete it in 7 steps :

  • The course SSH0345—Pratique du français Ă©crit is for you if you already speak French and you wish to significantly develop the quality of your written expression (grammar, syntax, etc.). Please note that it is not a course for beginners.
  • SSH3351 — Anglais pour ingĂ©nieurs 1 (Elementary level to Intermediate - 1 level) and SSH3352—Anglais pour ingĂ©nieurs 2 (Intermediate - 2 level) are tailor-made courses, depending on your language level, with reminders of grammar and technical vocabulary. They will allow you to improve your understanding of technical documents and improve your oral skills. A placement test will be held during the first class of the semester to make sure that you are in the appropriate level.
