Ongoing and upcoming works

Sidewalk forming

Wooden forms are being installed to support the pouring of the new concrete sidewalks.

Fun Fact: Wooden forms are placed along the edges of the planned sidewalk to help define the sidewalk shape, width, and height. These forms act like a mould for the wet concrete to harden in.

Installation of concrete sidewalks

New concrete sidewalks are being installed to improve pedestrian accessibility and connectivity along the One-Way.

Fun Fact: Concrete is poured into wooden forms to harden into a solid structure.

Installation of curb bulges

New concrete curb bulges are being installed along the One-Way to help guide pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The curb bulges will be adjoined by crosswalks to improve connectivity.

Fun Fact: Curb bulges help calm vehicle traffic, shorten crossing distances for pedestrians, and improve visibility and safety at intersections.
