Jennifer Oates Memorial Award

Many of you had an opportunity to work with our former PQI Faculty member and Physician Lead for Patient Engagement, Dr. Jennifer Oates. We lost her in the summer of 2023 and want to find a way to celebrate her legacy as a PQI program. Kamla and Jennie recently met with her family to explore setting up an annual memorial award in her name. If you would like to share your story of how Dr. Oates influenced your QI work, or how you engage with patients, we would love to hear from you at PQI@islandhealth.ca.
