Join the Conversation at our Town Hall Meeting

If you live or work in Coquitlam, you’re invited to our annual Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, May 7. This informal meeting is an opportunity to ask questions or share ideas with City Council and senior staff, either in person or online. Your feedback helps us identify community priorities, improve City services and explore new opportunities.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
