ALERT mode
We are still in ALERT mode. The City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, in collaboration with the Centre de la sécurité civile de Montréal, is continuously monitoring the situation for the Lac St. Louis and Lac des Deux-Montagnes, as well as for the Rivière de l’Anse-à-l’Orme.
- Lac St. Louis
The water level is at the minor flood threshold, and the trend is down.
- Lac des Deux-Montagnes
The water level is 300 mm (12'') above the minor flood threshold, and the trend is up for the next 48 hours. The water level could reach the base of the temporary dikes installed in a few places without impacting the buildings.
On ALERT mode, we perform increased surveillance every 2 hours to follow the evolution of water levels in Lac Saint-Louis and Lac des Deux-Montagnes. In addition, the municipal patrol also has a 24/7 resource.
