A WORD FROM YOUR PRESIDENT
Dear members,
Your new provincial collective agreement came into force on January 30, 2022, and the APTS has produced a document explaining the new elements it contains. You’ll see that your working conditions have been improved in many ways.
A digital version of the new agreement, which will be in force until March 31, 2023, is currently being finalized and will be available on the APTS website in the near future.
Over the next weeks, your labour relations counsellors and members of your local executive will receive further information enabling them to help you interpret the new gains and make sure the working conditions negotiated by the APTS are fully applied in practice.
Our task now is to get ready for the next round of contract talks, which will begin this fall when we present our demands to the government. We’ll keep on working to improve your working conditions and those of every professional and technical worker employed in health and social services.
