Did you know that as a part of the COVID-19 response the LTCI purchased and distributed iPads to long-term care homes who expressed interest? These iPads aimed to facilitate physician-resident-staff communications during remote visits. These iPads were trialed with the new LTCI Virtual Visit Toolkit for Facilities Pictured below is LTCI Program Coordinator Annebeth Leurs dropping off iPads to the Heights at Mt. View Administrator, Walter Greaser.

I was born in Saskatoon in 1953 in the Grey Nuns hospital where my father practiced medicine. As a kid, I used to accompany him on house-calls on weekends and watch him do x-rays and lab work at his office. I was acculturated to venerating seniors (my grandmother lived to 103 so I had lots of practice), so it was easy to extend favour to the elderly. Read more
