We’re thrilled to welcome Teresa Bissenden as the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council’s new Director of Patient & Public Engagement – the team which supports PVN!

Teresa will lead the team as we work towards advancing authentic patient engagement and improving health care in BC.

Teresa Bissenden

No stranger to the challenges of trying to implement system-wide changes, Teresa joins the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council from Vancouver Coastal Health, where she worked in the Transformation Office. She has a wealth of engagement experience, as well as a background in change management and community development.

With her strong track record and dedication to patient engagement, Teresa is sure to fit right in with this passionate network. We couldn’t be more excited to have her on board!
