With year-end data now confirmed, T4 forms have been posted to MyConnection as of February 13. Benefit plan members who require a T4A, the form that summarizes a member’s short-term and/or long-term disability income, will receive those documents in the mail. They will be sent out by the end of February. Those looking for access sooner can also find their T4A in their Canadian Revenue Agency account as soon as the agency uploads them. | SHA Well-being video: using your breath and body The video "Using Your Breath and Body" introduces Tactical Calm — a quick, science-based way to steady yourself when stress takes over. By using your breath to activate the vagus nerve, you can slow your heart rate, think more clearly, and regain control during high-pressure moments. The video walks you through a simple breathing pattern: inhale through your nose for three seconds, exhale through your mouth for five seconds. Even one minute can make a difference. Watch the video and download the Practice Resource to try Tactical Calm today. Visit the SHA Well-being for more information about our well-being model and available supports. | Recognition and Appreciation | Recreation Therapy Month February is Recreation Therapy Month and although it is over, it is important to continue to highlight the impact Recreation Therapists do everyday especially those working directly with pediatric patients at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital – improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being of children through play, recreation, and leisure activities of children and youth while admitted to hospital.
