Parking on the commercial axis

The 2-hour parking limit on the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue commercial axis will be temporarily lifted, between 5 p.m. and 4 a.m. the next day, until May 31, 2021.

The city council thus wishes to encourage traffic in the city's businesses by allowing long-term parking in the commercial area in the evening, especially during the holiday season.

For the details regarding the delimitation of the commercial axis, consult this map.

Revaluations of several properties on the territory

The Service de l'évaluation foncière de la Ville de Montréal, which is responsible for the property assessment rolls of cities in the Montreal agglomeration, recently re-inspected certain properties on the territory. Several of these reassessments were made as part of a file update which, according to the loi sur la fiscalité municipale, must be done periodically.

Also according to the loi sur la fiscalité municipale, the Ville de Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue must calculate the amount of property tax based on the assessment of the building made by the Ville de Montréal. Therefore, the City is currently adjusting its files based on new assessments, if applicable. Some residents may receive a notice of tax increase or decrease, depending of the case.

Food Bank Drive

On December 6th, 2020, starting at
12 p.m., volunteers from municipal
services and from the community
will cover all the streets of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to collect donations.

When you hear the sirens and the air flutes on your street, all you have to do is step outside to hand in your donations. Please note that they won’t knock on your door! You can also leave your donations on your front porch or in the entrance hall of a multi-unit building, making sure to identify them clearly by writing “Guignolée”.

If you know of any companies that would like to contribute, or if you want to get involved in this project, contact the 514-820-7174.
