TRADE MISSION 2024 TO FARNBOROUGH

» From July 19 to 25, 2024, Investissement Québec International and the Quebec Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy in collaboration with the General Delegation of Quebec in London, Aéro Montréal and Montréal International will travel with the Quebec delegation which will participate in the Farnborough show International Airshow 2024 to be held in London, England.

Aéro Montréal is launching a call to all companies committed to the shift towards sustainability in the Quebec aerospace sector. Whether it is through reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adopting responsible business practices, or committing to equity, diversity and inclusion, every action counts and deserves be recognized.

Highlight all YOUR BEST PRACTICES and inspiring initiatives through a series of podcast episodes dedicated to sustainable aviation. Enter to be one of 8 organizations that will share their stories, successes and challenges on the path to sustainability.

What will the visibility be for my organization?

Aéro Montréal will organize filming during the summer with the aim of launching the podcast series in fall 2024. Each episode will be broadcast on the Spotify platform.

LUXIA ANNOUNCES THE RECENT ACQUISITION OF FABRICAIRE

» This great news for a member of the aerospace cluster also highlights a new success of Aéro Montréal's Accelerator 360° initiative.

A leading flooring and soft goods finishing company for the business and commercial aviation industry, Luxia announced last month that it had acquired Fabricaire, a prominent player in the finishing of monuments for business aircraft. This acquisition aligns perfectly with Luxia’s long-term growth strategy and with the shared vision of the two companies that we congratulate!

This acquisition was supported by the support and financial assistance offered by Aéro Montréal's Accelerator 360° program. The initiative, which was launched in 2018 and will continue until March 2025.

 

SCALIAN ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF THE CANADIAN COMPANY MANNARINO SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE INC.

» A growth operation to strengthen its offerings in the field of electric avionics & drones.

Mannarino Systems & Software, the newly acquired company, specializes in avionics for electric aircraft and drones, and more globally in certified systems for the aerospace sector. The acquisition is in line with the Group’s strategy to expand internationally and focus on safety-critical systems and software engineering. It will allow SCALIAN to support the evolution of aeronautics towards greater sustainability over the next decade.

MOBILIZING AND COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS ON TOMORROW'S TRANPORT

» The recent designation of Espace Aéro was accompanied by major investments. Following a second call for projects from the MEIE, 7 collaborative aerospace projects, totaling an investment of $60 million, will be carried out by private organizations. Here are 2 that highlight Aéro Montréal members 

Financial support for an experimental air corridor ( project CORRIDAIR) between Joliette and Manawan.

The companies Jaunt Air Mobility (Aéro Montréal member) and Vertiko Mobilité, along with their partners, have been granted financial support for up to $2M of the $4.55M to accelerate the development of advanced air mobility and enable business models linked to BVLOS dronesand air taxis.

Financial support for the LX300 helicopter drone project with capacity for operations near urban areas.

The companies Laflamme Aéro (Aéro Montréal member) and NGC Aerospace have been granted $4 million in financial support from the Government of Quebec to carry out this mobilizing project on which they are collaborating with enthusiasm.
