Write On Bowen: Early Bird Passes Available until June 1

Write On Bowen Festival of Readers and Writers presents eight workshops over two days in August, featuring a fabulous variety of topics from crime fiction, screenwriting and memoir writing, to poetry, non-fiction and publishing. Included are a panel luncheon plus the Festival Gala on Saturday night, with a number of stellar presenters and live performances.

The festival is set at the Cove Commons on idyllic Bowen Island, with workshops held at the Library Annex and Copper Spirit Distillery, in Snug Cove.

Squamish Weaving with Chex̱imiya

Drop-in / All ages

Watch, learn, and weave with celebrated artist Chex̱imiya who combines modern techniques with the ancient Sḵwx̱wú7mesh art of weaving.

Join us at 2 pm at the Cove Commons and participate in creating a unique wool weaving that will remain on display at the Library.
