All items currently out have extended due dates to April 30, and they will be extended further if needed.

No fines will be charged for any overdues during this challenging time.

Thank you for your understanding.

What's online at the library?

E-books, e-audiobooks, streaming movies, e-books for kids, e-magazines, music lessons, courses in almost anything you can think of!

Maybe you have some time on your hands? Finally have a chance to pick up that guitar (violin, oboe, ukelele) and learn to play?

There are many online options on the library's website. And vendors are offering temporary free access to more. So keep checking the library website Bowen Library website to see what's new.

Pick up service coming soon...

We would love to get library books and videos into your hands during this challenging time of social distancing and staying at home. To do so safely, for our staff and for you, we are working on a pick up service.

You can go online to the library website and search for materials you would like to borrow in our catalog. Place a hold on those items, and staff will pull them from the shelves, check them out to you on an extended loan and package them for pick up. There are a few details to work out about pick up, but the likely scenario is 2 days a week at selected hours for pick up in the foyer to the Annex.

Look for further updates on this service as we get it up and running. If you don't have a library card, we can register you by phone or email and give you a card number to get started. Or if you've lost your card number just email us at info@bowenlibrary.ca and we'll send you your card number or your login information.

Closed due to COVID-19

We will re-open as soon as possible
