THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING THE MEASURES FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL

In view of the good weather forecast this weekend, we would like to remind you that it is forbidden to circulate in all the city's parks as well as on the Promenade du canal, and that businesses which do not offer priority services must close. Violators of these measures are exposed to fines ranging from $ 500 according to municipal regulations and from $1,000 to $6,000 according to the Public Health Act.

The SPVM, in collaboration with the municipal patrol, conduct surveillance tours on a regular basis and will intervene if necessary.

Thank you for respecting these preventive measures, for everyone's health and safety. Remember that staying at home saves lives. ðŸŒˆ

PARKING LIMIT ON RUE SAINTE-ANNE

Parking on rue Sainte-Anne, between rue Saint-Pierre and the Pont Galipeault is limited to 30 minutes maximum, throughout the period of declaration of a state of health emergency. New temporary signs have been installed.

This measure aims to reduce visits on the main artery, to enforce preventive measures related to COVID-19, such as the closings of the Promenade du canal, as well as social distancing.

MUNICIPAL TAXES

The 2nd payment of taxes is postponed to July 3, 2020. This payment was originaly scheduled for May 21.
