This week’s educator resources, Black Voices & Anti-Racism, offers diverse learning experiences, including films that highlight Black storytelling, interactive lessons that examine the psychological dimensions of racism, and a read-aloud book session that inspires young learners to explore anti-racism through creative expression.

Educator Resources:

  1. Dr. Ibram X. Kendi joins BookTube Jr. to read Can You Be Like Antiracist Baby? and explore ways kids can practice anti-racism, inspiring them to create artwork that celebrates their families and communities.

  2. Provided by Learning to Give, Racism and the Box (Grades 9-12) explores the psychological link between racism, self-betrayal, and self-deception.

  3. Produced by the National Film Board of Canada, Black Voices in Cinema includes a selection of films to discover stories from Black filmmakers across Canada and beyond.
