MUNICIPAL INFORMATION

HALLOWEEN

Good news! Our little monsters will be able to celebrate Halloween on October 31.

Following the recommendation of Public Health, house-to-house candy collection activities will be authorized, provided certain instructions are followed to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. The city will also deploy more municipal patrol officers during the evening to ensure security.

Halloween parties, however, will not be allowed since gatherings are still prohibited in the red zone.

MUNICIPAL COUNCIL MEETINGS AND PUBLIC MEETINGS

A ministerial decree concerning the order of measures to protect the health of the population in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic requires that all public meetings and meetings of the municipal council be held without the presence of the public, until further notice.

Therefore, council meetings will take place by technological means, that is, by videoconference. Questions can be sent in advance to greffe@sadb.qc.ca and the detailed minutes will be posted online after each meeting. All details will be communicated before each council meeting.

This rule also applies to information sessions or public consultations. In the event that this decree is still in force when such a session is necessary, we will inform citizens of the procedure.

We thank you for your understanding.
