One Field. All The Sports.

Test out soccer, ringette, pickleball, martial arts and more at this free, all-ages event! Join us at the Town Centre Park North Field on Saturday, August 16, from 1 – 3 p.m. Local clubs will be there with demos and info.

City-Wide Garage Sale and Giveaway

Pass along your pre-loved treasures through our Fall City-Wide Garage Sale and Giveaway Event. It’s a great way to give your gently used household items a second life. No yard? No problem! You can instead take part in the Fall Swap and Sale at Centennial Pavilion.

Annual Facility Closure
City Centre Aquatic Complex

CCAC will close September 2 – October 5 for essential maintenance. Get your laps and reps in at our other facilities, like Mundy Park Pool, which remains open until October 6! The fitness centre reopens on September 8, while the pool welcomes residents back on October 6.

Preserving the Past
Telling Coquitlam’s Stories

Coquitlam Public Library’s Poirier Branch is hosting a micro-exhibit from the Riverview Hospital Artifact Collection: “Seamstresses and Handicrafts – Stories Woven into Every Stitch”. Open until September 8, it features garments from Riverview’s occupational therapy program.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
