I’m happy to report our vaccination clinic at the Trisan Centre in Schomberg has been a huge success. We’ve administered more than 5,000 vaccinations since opening in early April. I’d like to thank our staff, local medical professionals and community volunteers for making this amazing community resource a reality. For the most up-to-date information on clinic hours, vaccine availability and eligibility requirements, please visit www.king.ca/covid19clinic. Until next month, please shop locally as much as possible and stay safe. Sincerely, Mayor Steve Pellegrini | Site Alteration By-law After months of work and consulting with the community and other stakeholders, King’s new Site Alteration By-law was approved at the April 26 council meeting. The Site Alteration By-law is designed to limit activities, such as removing or adding soil, which might change the level of a homeowner’s land. Changing the land’s surface, or grade, could interfere with the way water moves off your property. Water that can’t drain off can cause problems for yourself or your neighbour. You can read the new bylaw here. | | Schomberg Main Street Streetscaping We need your input! The Project Team will be hosting two virtual public meetings on Thurs., May 6.
