Q & A's from our Survey: Large Print Books

Question: I enjoy reading large print books and would love to find more in the library's collection.

Answer: When newly published books have a choice of regular and large print format, we try to purchase our one copy of that title in large print format. Large print books can be found by searching our catalogue under the subject Large Type Books. Click here to see the current selection of large print books in our collection.

RBdigital is Now Libby/OverDrive

The owners of our digital magazine and audiobook platform, RBdigital, have acquired Overdrive, another major eBook and audiobook platform that Bowen Library subscribes to.

All RBdigital content is migrating over to OverDrive. For Bowen Library users, this means you will find that content on the Libby app (also the OverDrive app), and online at the Library2Go website.

Updates

Audiobooks are migrated. RBdigital audiobook collection has now moved to OverDrive/Libby/Library2Go. Patrons' previous RBdigital checkouts, holds, history, and wish lists for audiobooks and ebooks are no longer available.

TBD, early 2021: RBdigital Magazines will be moved to the Libby/Library2Go platforms. The RBdigital app/website will be discontinued.

2021 TBD: Access to RBdigital’s IndieFlix independent films will move to the Libby/Library2Go platform.

How will this affect me?

If you use the Libby app or use Library2Go on your computer, you will see added content.

If you use the RBdigital app, you can delete it and download the free Libby app to access Bowen Library eBooks and audiobooks. If this is your first time using these, you will need to register with your Bowen Library card.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our RBdigital users. This migration was a decision made by the owners of RBdigital and OverDrive and is out of our control. Please contact us if you need any help using Libby or Library2Go.
