Transition from proof-of-concept to pilot

Following the successful completion of its proof-of-concept groundwork, CanSSOC is now focused on developing and refining cyber security services that are built by the community for the community. This transition period will extend the pilot initiatives beyond the six founding universities to benefit additional universities and colleges across Canada.

CanSSOC's governance model will also continue to evolve as part of this transition phase. The existing steering committee will be investigating long-term governance and operational models, including the option of creating a not-for-profit entity.
