Each week features a themed program designed to provide an enjoyable experience for young participants, including snacks and colouring activities. There’s something new to discover every Saturday—make story time the highlight of your weekend!

Friday Night Lounge – First Friday of each month

The library will be open the first Friday of every month for those 18 and up to get out and be active in the community. Get a weekly D&D group together, try a new game (board or video), or maybe a knitting circle; the choice is yours! Coffee, tea, and water will be served; bring your own snack. The first Friday of every month, from 5:30-7:30pm. The next Friday Night Lounge will be on Friday, May 1st – there will be some D&D happening as well as a round of Trivial Pursuit!

Saturday Morning Book Club – First Saturday of each month

Calling all book lovers! Drop by the library from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month for a lively and welcoming book club experience. Each month, we set out on a new reading adventure by picking a different genre, and you get to choose which book to dive into. Our discussions are as diverse as our books—share your favourite characters, plot twists, and the wild journeys your reading has taken you on! This is a relaxed, no-pressure group for adults (18+)—just bring your curiosity, your latest read, and your enthusiasm to connect with fellow book enthusiasts. We will have tea, coffee, or water available; feel free to bring a snack. Mark your calendar for our next get-together: Saturday, May 2nd.
