Swimming Lessons details

The pool is open with the following hours of operation:

  • Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Summer Camps

Squamish Recreation and Culture summer programs, day camps and leadership courses offer creative, fun and social summer learning opportunities for all ages. Choose from our selection of School Age Adventure Camps and LEAP (Learning through Exploration, Activity, and Play) Camps for kids aged 3-5.

More in-depth descriptions, dates and times are found online or by chatting with our Customer Service team.

LEAP

Our LEAP (Learning through Exploration, Activity, and Play) Camps run for two hours a day with an educational focus, helping little ones get used to being away from their parent(s) or caregiver(s) and begin learning routines independently. LEAP Camps support the development of movement skills, healthy habits, positive behaviours, and confidence.

Note: Children must be able to use the washroom independently to attend.

Circuit Training 101

Learn the basics of circuit training at Westwinds Senior Living. Rotate through a series of conditioning exercises that target a variety of muscle groups; improve your balance, agility and mobility, while strengthening cardiovascular endurance. Drop-ins welcome if space permits.

Hearing Loop Technology

Hearing loop technology was recently installed in Council Chambers. This allows hearing aid and cochlear implant users to stream audio seamlessly into their devices, increasing accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition, portable hearing loops were installed at the front counters in Brennan Park Recreation Centre, The 55 Activity Centre, and the Squamish Public Library.
