Library Mid-Month Update

Vaccine Verification Not Required

Libraries are not required by BC Public Health to verify vaccination status of their patrons. Therefore, the Bowen Library will not be requiring proof of vaccination for any library programs or services. This includes all activities held inside the library building that are under 50 people.

We thank our patrons for continuing to help us prioritize the safety of all by wearing masks, social distancing, and hand washing/sanitizing.

Come to Our First Teen Advisory Group Meeting! • Saturday, September 25, 2:00 pm

Bring Your Own Book Club • Saturday, September 18

If you’re between 18-35 and want to discuss books and meet other young Bowen Island book lovers, drop in to one or all of our Bring Your Own Book Club dates!

This is a welcoming group where you can rave (or rant!) about a book you’ve read or an audiobook you've listened to, and find your next great read.

Even if you almost never read books, if you've read one at some point and have some thoughts about it, you're welcome here!

We meet Saturdays September 18, October 16, and November 20 from 12-1 pm.

We will meet in the Library Annex but could move outside depending on the group’s preference and if weather permits. Masks required indoors and COVID protocols will be in place, but proof of vaccination is not required.
