As a self-regulating profession, the Board of the COBC has the important duty of overseeing the COBC's regulatory activities and is accountable for how the COBC operates.
Successful board members don't necessarily need past board experience, but have knowledge and skills in areas like leadership, strategy, decision-making, finance, and of course professional regulation. In addition, it is important that board members are professional, performance-oriented and are aware of self and others.
