This week’s educator resources on Self-Love & Self-Compassion provide tools and activities to cultivate a strong sense of self-worth and emotional resilience in students. Through interactive lessons, reflective exercises, and uplifting narratives, these materials encourage confidence, personal growth, and a caring attitude toward oneself and others.

Educator Resources:

  1. Provided by School Mental Health Ontario, Self-Love for Students: Classroom Activities About Loving Yourself First provides strategies and activities to help students practice self-compassion and self-love, enhancing their well-being and ability to extend kindness to others. ❤️

  2. In collaboration with Discovery Education, the "Amazing Me" program offers classroom resources for Grades 4–5, including digital lesson bundles, classroom activities, and educator guides, to empower students to build self-esteem, promote positive body image, and develop body confidence.❤️

  3. Written by Marc Colagiovanni, "The Reflection in Me" is an animated short film and picture book that encourages self-love, acceptance, and a positive self-image, empowering children to embrace themselves just as they are. ❤️
