Immigration procedures
At this stage, you should have your CAQ and have also received your acceptance letter for a Study Permit.
WARNING! If you don’t have all the required immigration authorizations to study in Canada, don’t get on a plane! Why? You could be denied entry to Canada at the border; the Registrar’s Office at Polytechnique will not be able to maintain your registration to the fall semester without your required authorizations.
Courses begin on August 28, 2023, and the deadline to arrive at Polytechnique Montréal and to provide your immigration documents to the Registrar’s Office is September 12, 2023. If you think you won’t be able to arrive on time, please carefully read the “Late arrivals” section (Master’s, DESS, Doctorate/Double Degree) of our GO-Poly website.
For more information, consult our websites: Authorizations to Study and entry to Canada.
Administrative check-in
Until September 12, 2023, international graduate and double degree students are required to provide certain documents. For more details, visit the New student journey—Graduate studies/New student journey—Double Degree with an integrating semester (in French only).
