The links below include recommended resources "to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to promote efforts to increase accessibility and inclusion in Canada."

Educator Resources:

  1. Developed by The TeachAble Project, these lesson plans include accessibility topics and actions. To access lesson plans in French, check out Accessibilité+.
  2. Developed by the Rick Hansen Foundation, this Resource Library "contains full lesson plans, short activities, videos, e-books and more...to help you start meaningful conversations about inclusion and accessibility."

  3. Developed by the Equity Institute, this "Where Am I?" infographic is a quick way to self-assess where you are at, along the educational equity spectrum, including accessibility (i.e., equity in action).
