This week, the 15th International conference on Advanced Lithium Batteries for Automotive Applications (ABAA) took place at the Palais de Congrès in Montreal. The ABAA conference brings together high-level policy makers from the USA, China, Europe, Japan, and Korea, in addition to car manufacturers, battery industry makers, and world-renown scientists from academia and national labs to enhance and accelerate R&D, and strengthen collaboration in the field.
EMC's President & CEO, Daniel Breton, gave a presentation at the conference, covering the most recent EV sales data in Canada new challenges and opportunities in the Canadian EV market.
At the event, Daniel also participated in a joint press conference with Michelle LLambias-Meunier from Propulsion Quebec and Karim Zaghib from Volt-Age, where they shared their perspectives on electric and intelligent transportation and the state of the battery industry in Quebec as well as on a national scale.
