ORGANIZATION OF WORK AND PROFESSIONAL ISSUES

Webinar: service withdrawal and reassignment of personnel

Last June, we presented an analysis of the impact on APTS members’ professional practice of withdrawing them from their regular services and reassigning them during the first wave of the pandemic. We followed that up with a survey, an assessment of the MSSS action plan, and a new analysis to prepare for the second wave.

We invite you to take part in a webinar that presents the follow-up monitoring work conducted in collaboration with the local teams.

Here are the zoom links to join the webinar:

PAY EQUITY AND SALARY RELATIVITY

Pay equity maintenance:
the 2015 and 2020 audits

In the Fil@pts for members, you’ll find details on the data we’ll be publishing to help review the 2020 pay equity audit for the period from 2016 to 2020.

Parallel to this, for the 2015 pay equity audit, we’re gathering more specific information on certain job titles, following information that has already been sent to us. We’re asking members in the following job titles to send us information in the coming weeks:

  • ethics advisor
  • cytologist
  • community recreation leadership technician
  • orthotics-prosthetics technician.

We may check back with you again later this fall.

EVENTS

General Council via Zoom, December 1-3

A quick reminder that the General Council on December 1, 2 and 3 will be held via Zoom. You have until November 13 to register on the GEMS website.

The notice of meeting is available on our website.

UNION LIFE

Compiling AMI union leave

An important reminder for those of you who haven’t handed in your figures on union leave for AMI info-mobilization officers: it’s important to send in the compiled figures on a monthly basis to comptabilite@aptsq.com, retroactively to the month of April 2020, even if no union leave was used. Make sure to also indicate the name and number of your unit, using the scroll-down menu designed for that purpose. The forms are available on our website in the section entitled Trésorerie. The compiled figures help us monitor the budget.
