First Meeting of the Canadian Network for Health in All Policies

In September 2023, the Canadian Network for Health in All Policies (CNHiAP) held its first meeting, gathering about 20 public health actors from across Canada.

This 2-day event, entitled Working Together for Population Health and Health Equity, allowed participants to bring together the inaugural members of the CNHiAP, set the scene for the Network’s work, discuss and set priorities and find ways to collaborate.

International Environmental Scan of Public Health Surveillance Functions

The NCC for Methods and Tools collaborated with the NCCHPP to undertake an International Environmental Scan of Public Health Surveillance Functions for the Public Health Agency of Canada. This environmental scan aims to describe characteristics of national public health surveillance functions from countries with comparable contexts to Canada. Therefore, it provides a global perspective on how different nations coordinate surveillance functions at a national level.

Call for Applications

• 2024 NCCPH Knowledge Translation Graduate Student Awards
  
  The purpose of the awards is to recognize the work of graduate students working in the area of knowledge translation in public health in Canada. Three awards of $1500 will be offered. The deadline to apply is February 5, 2024.
